Dog Park

Court Place and Washington Street(Near Safeway)

There is no actual name listed, but if you travel to the corner of Court Place and Washington Street, you will find a triangular dog park. From reviews, it is nothing elaborate. You need to bring your own water. Some reviewers complained about having to pick goat heads and burrs out of their dog’s paws. The dog park is fenced. There is some places to sit on the retaining wall. I have been here several times, but there was not anyone there. Hence, no photos. Similar to Sonny Lawson Dog Park, you may have it all to yourself.

Sonny Lawson Dog Park

2015 E 17th Ave, Denver, CO

Off leash run dog park, in the heart of Five Points. Lots of space for the pups to run around and there is shade provided by nearby trees. Surrounding park amenities also include newly constructed play ground, basketball court, baseball diamond, and picnic tables. Described as clean and usually not busy. Not an impressive dog park. I visited here several times and no one was ever there. On the positive side, you may have the whole dog park to yourself!

View of a playground with wood chip ground cover, a basketball hoop, a fenced court, trees, and buildings in the background. A colorful mural depicting a person's face is painted on the back of a small building.
A fenced urban park area with palm trees, a walkway, and residential buildings in the background, covered with wood mulch.
